Why New Opportunity School - Real Estate School
When I obtained my License for Real Estate,I wanted to begin my new career quickly. By the grace of God, I passed my test on the first attempt Friday in the evening. I could not wait for the arrival of the following Monday and from 8:00 AM I was waiting for my Broker to arrive to affiliate myself in his business.
My broker, is a young very successful professional and in addition, he is the son of a great friend for whom I feel deep respect and esteem. I made dozens of questions (I had prepared a complete list) and I wanted hi to give me a "Plan of Action". He asked me to relx and he send me with a professional photographer so that he would take the typical picture every agent takes. The following step was to publish a ad in "a very special" magazine. That same day I was called (sometime late at night) to tell me that the publication of the ad in that magazine was an "industrial secret". He asked me to not say anything to anyone else because he did not wish for that "secret" to be "revealed". I felt very uncomfortable, because my brother in law was also an agent as other many good friends and if "something" were good, I would want to share it whith everybody, not to keep ifo myself.
But that was only the beginning, whenever he arrived at the office he hid his computer screen so that I could not see. He did not want me to accompany anybody to a closing. I can say that in those short two or three weeks, I felt more like a secret agent or "spy" than a real estate agent.
What really brought the whole thing over the top was that my wife complained that I was going there every day just to read personal e-mails. What I was really doing was checking the price to put ads in other real estate magazines because I prefaired to publish my ads in other magazines that were not considered an "industrial secret".
This situation left me deceptioned of the real estate proffesion and I was six months whith my license inactive.
After that a friend of my wife who is a real estate agent told her that in her company everyone helps each other because of the structure of the company.
Indeed, in that company there was a structure of commissions, where the agent who brought me in the company, would earn a 10% of the total commission of the sales that I brought to the company. That stimulated it to help me to be successful. This new scheme I liked better than the previous one where I had to learn by myself.
Now I feel motivated to share what I learned, and want to help others, as these first colleages helped me. This was the motivation that helped me to obtain my license of instructor and to participate in this Academy of Real Estate. You will be in good hands, everything that you want to learn I will help you know and nothing will be hidden to them nor will there be "industrial secrets".
Our commitment in our Real Estate School is to prepare new and excellent professionals in Real Estate who take care of this increasing market that is approached to us.
The way of the success is ahead of you, the decision to follow its only yours.
